Best decanted for half an hour at 16–18°C, and it's a perfect match for steak. Great value for money – five stars!
The Nezha label was what first caught my eye. After tasting it, I enjoyed the rich plum, blackberry and blackcurrant flavours, followed by gentle spice and a subtle savoury note. It was full-bodied yet smooth, with silky tannins and a warm finish. While drinking it, I became curious about Nezha and the Dragon King depicted on the label. The artwork made this bottle more memorable and inspired me to learn more about the Chinese legend behind it.
Opened this with a big Sunday roast. It's a classic blend, delivering plenty of dark berry and plum fruit with a nice hint of chocolate and vanilla from the oak. The Shiraz brings the soft, juicy richness, while the Cabernet offers a firm, gripping backbone with a touch of that classic eucalyptus and blackcurrant edge . It's a deep, satisfying red that pairs brilliantly with hearty food .
This is such a typical well balanced Australian Shiraz Cabernet blend. Juicy dark berry, plum, subtle black pepper from Shiraz mixes with blackcurrant and gentle herbal notes from Cabernet. Tannins are soft and approachable. No long decanting required. Perfect for barbecues, pasta and roast meats. Super reliable table wine.
Nice straightforward Shiraz Cabernet. Ripe berry fruit jumps out on the palate. It is very smooth and easy to drink straight from the bottle. Where it falls short is complexity. Simple fruit‑forward flavour, lacks extra earthy or secondary notes. Excellent casual wine, don’t expect premium tier quality.
