Rich, Smooth and Full of Character

I opened this Barossa Valley Shiraz with dinner and was impressed by its deep blackberry and ripe plum aromas. The first sip felt rich and full-bodied, with dark fruit, black pepper and a subtle touch of chocolate and oak. Despite its bold flavour, the tannins were smooth and the finish was warm and lingering. It became softer after breathing and paired beautifully with steak.

Great quality, but too big for my taste

There is absolutely no denying this is a beautifully crafted, high-quality wine with all the classic Barossa hallmarks—ripe blackberry, dark plum, sweet vanilla oak, and a long, velvety finish. However, purely from a personal taste perspective, it just isn't my style. I personally gravitate towards more elegant, earthy, cool-climate styles. That said, if you love massive, rich, and bold reds, this will absolutely be up your alley.

      Big, bold and beautifully rich

This is everything you want from a classic Barossa Shiraz. Huge concentration of dark plum, blackberry, and dark chocolate, with a lovely hint of sweet vanilla and mocha from the oak. It's incredibly smooth and velvety, with soft tannins and a long, warming black pepper spice on the finish. Opened it with a chargrilled steak, and it was absolutely heavenly. A true heavyweight in the best possible way.

Great Australian Shiraz full of fruit

Really lovely Barossa Valley Shiraz. Rich blackberry and soft black pepper notes, smooth tannins, not overly harsh. Perfect with roasted lamb and slow‑cooked meats.

      Bold and luxurious

Rich dark berries, plum and mocha with velvety tannins. Powerful yet smooth, with a long, satisfying finish. A stellar example of the style.
