I served this Chardonnay lightly chilled and really enjoyed its fresh, inviting aroma. The first sip brought flavours of ripe peach, citrus and green apple, followed by a soft, slightly creamy texture. I liked that it felt smooth without being too heavy, while the gentle acidity kept every sip bright and refreshing. The clean finish paired beautifully with grilled seafood and made it a lovely wine for a relaxed dinner.
This is a really solid Aussie Chardonnay. Ripe white peach, melon, and a lovely creamy texture from the malolactic fermentation. There's a nice touch of vanilla and toasted oak that makes it rich and satisfying. Paired perfectly with roast chicken. Only knocked off a star because it's just a bit heavy on the butter/oak for my personal taste, and I would have liked a sharper, zestier citrus finish to balance it out. Still, great value for the price.
